Nevada City Cabaret: Red Hot Love Letter- A Valentine’s Day Experience!

Truth or Dare Productions brings you Nevada City Cabaret- Nevada City’s Premier Burlesque & Cabaret Show! Arrive early to enjoy craft Valentine’s Day Cocktails by the infamous Golden Era Lounge.

Truth or Dare’s performers give a fun, playful new meaning to the Feast of Saint Valentine in their brand-new Love Letter Revue! The voluptuous, spicy and funny stars & starlets of this retro feel-good cabaret are regarded by many as the best burlesque in town!

This jam-packed show features an unforgettable night of jaw-dropping cabaret routines, burlesque, magic, & more! Debuting some brand spanking new performances, out-of-town performers and throwing down with our lovely classic local Nevada County performers. We bring you Red Hot Love Letter and it’s guaranteed to make your heart sing as performers give their all for your love, admiration, and entertainment. Get ready for quite the spectacle and oh how fabulous it will be!

Throw on that sexy little red dress and show up at 7:00 to have a delicious craft cocktail (or two) made by Golden Era Lounge while mingling in the foyer. Theatre doors will open at 7:30 to take your seats.

At 8:00 p.m. the real fun begins with a captivating ride, chock-full of sensationally sexy acts and naughty fun featuring burlesque and cabaret dancers, with outlandish performances and costumes. Come let loose and give in to absolute pleasure because this will be one hell of a saucy night you’ll never forget!

Bitter Songs for Bitter People: A Valentine’s Day Cabaret

Are you a hopeless romantic who has realized that romance is, indeed, hopeless?

Then come celebrate life’s broken hearts and full-frontal failures by embracing the shame, wrestling it to the ground, and swirling it up in a cocktail or twenty. From The Kinks to Sondheim to George Strait, Bitter Songs for Bitter People is a chance to celebrate your inner-bitter with songs of lost love, nasty breakups, and the agony of facing your ex on Facebook.

Presented by HonkBark Productions in association with the Nevada Theatre, Bitter Songs for Bitter People will give acidic singles and jaded couples something to laugh (or cry) about on Valentine’s Day!

This one-night-only show features Nevada County favorites Sue LeGate, Heidi Grass, Tina Marie Kelley, Shannon Harney, and Laura LeBleu. John Ficarra hosts and directs, with music direction courtesy of InConcert Sierra’s Ken Hardin backed up on bass by Steve Nicholson.

Box office opens at 7 pm and doors open at 7:15. Get there early to knock back a cocktail or two from The Golden Era lounge.

Christmas is Coming!

With a wonderland of hot chocolate, presents, family time, candy, cookies, and lights! This year, we are thrilled to be performing once again at the majestic Nevada Theater!! The show is a fast-paced, Holiday thrill ride with comedic performances, Santa baby and his delectable, along with divine and dazzling cabaret dancers. Dancing this electric never felt so good to watch–you’ll laugh, applaud, and be inspired to kick up your heels.

Truth or Dare thinks burlesque and Christmas are the perfect combinations. Burlesque is all about having fabulous fun, dressing up, enjoying yourself with family and friends plus It’s got a great dash of humor and satire, so it gets everybody laughing. That’s really what the holidays are about.

Truth or Dare will be debuting some brand spanking new performances, a few out-of-town performers and throwing down with our lovely classic local performers. We bring you Happy Holiday Cheers that will make your heart sing in this month’s Nevada City Cabaret. And Holy Smokes this show will jingle all the way. Get ready for quite the spectacle and oh how fabulous it will be my friends! You don’t want to miss this production cause we’ll be taking this holiday season to an all-new level.
