A VISION OF HERE is a 10-minute video film about the inception and creation of a large-scale, completely original mural spanning the entire auditorium of the historic Nevada Theatre in downtown Nevada City. In the film, artist Sarah Coleman describes her and her team’s process of making the mural entitled “Drop by Drop, A River is Formed,” which whole-heartedly celebrates our community.
Culled from over five months of footage documenting the work of renovating the theatre, designing and painting the mural, filmmaker Yasha Aginsky shares a small window into the creation of this magnificent and lasting contribution to the artistic and cultural heritage of Nevada City.
