June 9th at the Nevada Theatre: Directed by celebrated documentary filmmakers Albert and David Maysles, GIMME SHELTER followed The Rolling Stones as they carried out plans for the infamous Altamont Speedway Free Concert. What unfolded was disastrous, and marked the end of the 1960s counterculture movement.
