 The Onyx Downtown and Sierra Friends of Tibet co-present Precious Guru

PRECIOUS GURU screens at the ONYX DOWNTOWN AT THE NEVADA THEATRE on Sunday, January 29th. This evening is co-presented by and is a fundraiser for Sierra Friends of Tibet. Director Marc Wennberg will introduce the film and also take questions and answers afterward. 

The timing of this screening coincides with the annual visit of the Tibetan Buddhist Monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery, who began visiting Nevada County in 2001. They will offer a blessing to the Nevada Theatre prior to the screening of Precious Guru. Additionally, they will be offering teachings, public talks, and sand painting mandala events in Nevada County from January 20 through February 4, 2023. Learn more at SierraFriendsofTibet.net.
