After a “spirited” séance goes wrong, the cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine suddenly finds himself face to face with the ghost of his deceased wife, Elvira…much to the chagrin of his current spouse, Ruth. Caught between one live wife and one dead wife — both jealous of the other — Charles thinks matters couldn’t be worse. Love and marriage quickly devolve into laughter and mayhem in Noël Coward’s sparkling comedy classic.
