Join us on Wednesday, January 3rd, for a fun and soccer-filled evening as Nevada Union Girls Soccer teams up with The Onyx Downtown at the historic Nevada Theatre. We’re thrilled to present She’s the Man, a delightful teen comedy inspired by William Shakespeare’s play Twelfth Night. Starring Amanda Bynes, this movie brims with classic early 2000s high school hijinx and plenty of soccer action. Tickets for this fundraiser are only $13, which not only grants you access to the film screening but also directly supports our local student-athletes. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the film kicks off at 7 pm sharp. So gather your friends, family, and teammates for a memorable night filled with laughter and celebration of soccer! Synopsis: Viola Hastings is in a real jam. Complications threaten her scheme to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, and take his place at a new boarding school in order to play on the boys’ soccer team. She falls for her handsome roommate, Duke, who likes beautiful Olivia, who has fallen for Sebastian! As if that were not enough, Viola’s twin returns from London ahead of schedule but has no idea that his sister has already replaced him on campus.
