
PAUL EMERY PRESENTS THE EXILES OF ERIN

Shawn Prescott has been a key player in Northern California’s robust Celtic music scene for decades. From the numerous Celtic sessions held regularly in the region, Shawn has rounded up an all-star combo to showcase Celtic tunes and songs.
Shawn Prescott: flute, tin whistle, guitar, bodhran, vocals
Guy Prudhomme: banjo, guitar, low whistle, bodhran, vocals
Shawn Prudhomme: fiddle, viola, vocals
Ethan Lewis: fiddle, vocals
Nick Morgan: fiddle, accordion, vocals
Each of these musicians has decades of experience in Celtic Music performing locally and regionally in various events, venues, and sessions.
Shawn Prescott began playing flute, guitar, and singing with folk groups in grammar school, discovered Traditional Irish music in her teens and later picked up tin whistle, harp and bodhran. For the 2025 KVMR Celtic Festival she assembled Exiles of Erin for a main-stage showcase.
Guy Prudhomme started playing guitar 15 years ago in session with his son, Shawn, and then picked up bodhran, whistle and banjo.
Ethan Lewis began studying classical violin at age 4, then began attending Alasdair Fraser’s Sierra Fiddle camp at age 13, studying under both Alasdair and Martin Hayes.
Shawn Prudhomme began in Alasdair Fraser’s Sierra Fiddle Camp 17 years ago, and is a graduate of UOP in viola performance, and teaches viola and violin at his own studio in San Jose, CA.
