Laughter Shock improv returns to Nevada City LIVE! with Laughter Shocktober!
They said “never summon what you can’t put back.” We did it anyway. Laughter Shock, Nevada County’s most dangerously unrehearsed improv troupe returns to crawl out of the crypt for one night of comedy. So unscripted, we can’t legally promise anyone’s safety. Least of all our own.
No scripts. No safety net. Just players from ages 30 into our 70s conjuring scenes out of thin air. Powered by nothing but unfiltered thoughts, chaos, and whatever cursed suggestions you throw at them.
Laughter Shock includes Marsha Burch, Brian Coe, Lindsay Dunckel, Anna Durga, Kimberly Ewing, Heather Federmeyer, Ehrland Hollingsworth, John Paul, Sandra Rockman, Chel Svendsgaard, and Rod Tayler — eleven brave souls who will soar, and occasionally flop, directly into the void – live, for your entertainment.
With a name like Laughter Shock, expect the unexpected. With a night called Laughter Shocktober, expect the unexplainable. Bring your worst ideas, and a friend to hold onto — as we cannot be held responsible for what happens once the suggestions start flying.
