Our last double feature spotlights one of our favorite subgenres of horror, the sinister slasher! Released in 1978, John Carpenter’s Halloween instantly became an overnight sensation, terrifying audiences and popularizing slashers for a whole new generation. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, a teenager who finds herself the target of the psychotic serial killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Perhaps the most influential horror film ever made, we are excited to bring HALLOWEEN back to the big screen on October 27th!
