NCFF presents Herd Mentality: Locals Stand Up Showdown

April 12th at 8:00 pm

This year’s event kicks off Friday, April 12, doors at 7:00 pm, show at 8:00 pm, with the first-ever Herd
Mentality: Stand-Up Showdown presented in association with The BVNKR (pronounced
bunker). Come out to see 12-15 of the best local and regional comedians perform their funniest
sets. At the end of the night, the audience will vote on which comedian wins the cash prize and
the opening slot for Saturday night’s headliner show.

“We are excited to partner with NCFF on this new event and support the growing community of
local comedians and performers,” said Michaela King, comedian and co-founder of The BVNKR.
“This show will be one of the best opportunities for local audiences to see so many great
comedians on one stage.”

The BVNKR is Nevada County’s premier stand-up comedy coalition. Formed in 2020 with the
intention of providing comics a place to work and work out, The BVNKR soon evolved into a
community for stand-up fans, newcomers to comedy – on either side of the mic – and seasoned
comedians alike, and continues its dedication to cultivating community, comedy and bringing
laughter to Nevada County and beyond.
