The Onyx Downtown presents a screening of Booksmart

September is Sexual Health Awareness month! Join Citizens for Choice and The Onyx Downtown at the Nevada Theatre on Tuesday, 9/26 in celebration of reproductive justice with a screening of BOOKSMART – the hilarious, raunch-com misadventure of two best friend feminists and their fellow high school graduates. This evening is a fundraiser for Citizens for Choice and tickets are $13.

Doors open at 6:30, movie starts at 7:00. The film is rated R but we are open to all ages.

Synopsis: Academic overachievers Amy and Molly thought keeping their noses to the grindstone gave them a leg up on their high school peers. But on the eve of graduation, the best friends suddenly realize that they may have missed out on the special moments of their teenage years. Determined to make up for lost time, the girls decide to cram four years of not-to-be-missed fun into one night — a chaotic adventure that no amount of book smarts could prepare them for. Running Time: 1 hour, 42 minutes.
