With the closing of the Broadway and Gem Theaters, special pictures were now shown exclusively at the Nevada Theatre. During this time it was remodeled for primarily movie use. This is the time that they slanted the floor and installed electric lights. It was opened as the Cedar Theater and though still having the occasional live production, the Cedar quickly became primarily a movie house where weekly showings were the expectation and live production was secondary and had to work around the movie shedule.
