SUMMARY:C.A.T.S. presents Where the Mountain Meets the Moon
DESCRIPTION:April 17th through May 10th\nCommunity Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS) enters its 31st season in 2025 with a production of Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, a play adapted by Jeannine Coulombe from Grace Lin’s bestselling Newbery Honor Book.  It is directed by Allison Chan, in memory and honor of her late mother, Lisa Moon, Artistic Director of CATS.  The show will play at the Nevada Theatre from April 17 to May 10, 2025, and tickets will be available on February 1, 2025, through the CATS’ website.  This enchanting and magical story of gratitude is unveiled by mystical creatures, like a dragon, a goldfish, numerous animal puppets, and The Man of the Moon, taking the audience on a cultural epic journey of discovery and artistry in ancient China.  The show promises to be a “feast for the senses” with lavish costumes and original music.  It is appropriate for all ages.\nTickets available HERE\n\n
