Buoyed by a voice Rolling Stone magazine called, “One of the most gifted voices of her generation” she fused pop, blues, folk, R&B, Americana and jazz in a way that had not been heard before, and the album rose to the top of the charts and was one of the top-selling albums of 1974.\nAfter years of playing venues in Northern California, Kellie Garmire launched her rock group the The Kellie Garmire Band in 2022 following up with an electrifying performance with 1000 Kisses Deep-The Songs of Leonard Cohen.
