Selections specifically chosen for the evening include\nmusic of the Beatles, David Bowie, The Everly Brothers, Van Morrison, Crowded House and\nGerry and the Pacemakers.\n\nThe second part of this special magical night is performed by mother and son duo Kris &\nDominic Stepanian. Kris started her singing career at\nage 10 when she began classical training and participated in music festivals and competitions.\nIn high school, she was introduced to musical theater, which turned into a passion she continues\nto this day. A graduate of the Musician’s Institute, Dominic is a working musician, performing\nlive, in studios, and as a teacher. He has done several multi-month tours around the states and\nEurope. Most recently, he performed at Bottle Rock Festival in Napa, Bonaroo Festival in\nTennessee, The Governor’s Ball in New York, and Lollapalooza in Chicago. Kris describes\nmaking music with her son as magical. She says, “There is something magical that happens\nwhen we play together. Maybe it is our combined deep love for the music we perform. Maybe it\nis our mother-son connection. Whatever it is, I love it and I cherish it!”\n\nThe Food Bank of Nevada County will have beer, wine, and snacks available for purchase,\nmaking this very magical night even more so. The Food Bank receives 100% of the concession\nmoney for the night, at the start of the holiday season, when the need is very great.\nTickets for “A Magical Musical Night” are only $25 in advance, and $30 at the door, with special\nreserved seating is available for $35.\nTickets are available online at www.legacypresents.com or by calling (530) 268 5419.
