SUMMARY:Student Speech Finals
DESCRIPTION:\nTop oration students, grades 4-8, from local public and private schools, will soon compete in the countywide Speech Tournament.  The tournament is coordinated by the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS) office and is sponsored by Tri Counties Bank, the Rotary Club of Grass Valley and the Nevada Theatre Commission.  This year’s speech topic is “My Perfect Day”.\nFifteen student finalists will present their speeches at an evening program on Tuesday, March 10th, held at the historic Nevada Theatre.  The esteemed panel of judges consists of representatives from local Toastmasters groups.\nEach finalist will receive a first, second, or third place trophy and a $25 Book Seller gift certificate.\nThis event is free and open to the public.\n\nFor info please visit https://nevco.org/\n
